This digital painting was created in Adobe Photoshop using a variety of brushes to create different textures and effects. I was inspired by a nature-themed tattoo design that I came across while researching different artistic styles. While the original image sparked the idea, I wanted to make the piece my own through color, composition, and movement.
One of my main goals was to create a sense of freedom and motion. I achieved this by having the water and birds extend beyond the borders of the main painting and flow into the background. This helped connect all areas of the piece and made the composition feel less confined.
I also focused heavily on color. The bright and vibrant sky contrasts with the softer, more neutral tones of the mountains. This balance helps create visual interest without overwhelming the viewer. Through this project, I gained more experience with digital painting techniques and learned how composition, color, and movement can work together to create a stronger final piece.
